We’re hiring for a fast-growing enterprise in the digital services space, and we’re looking for a Senior .NET Application Maintenance Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills, backend expertise, and a sharp eye for performance optimization.

If you enjoy digging into production issues, fine-tuning systems for efficiency, and making sure critical business applications stay rock-solid – this one’s for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain and optimize enterprise applications built on ASP.NET, .NET Core, and .NET Framework

• Troubleshoot complex bugs in both application and database layers

• Improve performance with query tuning and stored procedure optimization

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues

• Manage deployments via Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or TeamCity

• Communicate progress and technical insight to stakeholders effectively

What We’re Looking For:

• Senior-level experience with .NET (C#), ASP.NET, .NET Core, and MSSQL

• Strong debugging skills and experience improving legacy systems

• Familiarity with modern build/deployment pipelines (CI/CD)

• Excellent communicator – able to bridge tech and non-tech conversations

• Independent and accountable, with a proactive mindset for continuous improvement

Bonus points for:

• Experience in regulated industries or critical infrastructure

• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic, App Insights, or Datadog

Offer:

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 6 months + extensions (long-term opportunity)

• Location: Utrecht, Hybrid – 2 days/week on-site

• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week

• Contract Type: Freelance or Detachering
